It covers about 700,000 square miles triangle of ocean off the Florida, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda. British oceanographers have concluded a decades-long investigation into the Bermuda Triangle and have finally determined what is behind the hundreds of mysterious disappearances in the region. It is a place where numerous ships (50), planes (20) and people have disappeared with no explanation. Southampton University explained the ships have been sucked by that place by “rogue waves” over 30 metres in height.

Many theories to try to explain the disappearances but they could not except rougue waves theory. when an 18.5-metre rogue wave was measured in the North Sea by satellites in 1995.Rogue waves occur when an abnormally large wave crashes in the open sea. Normal waves of around 12 meters have a breaking pressure of 8.5 psi (pounds per square inch). 21 psi (pounds per square inch) can be tolerated by Modern Ships, but crushing pressure of rogue waves is 140psi. So its pressure can crush any big ships.
