1 Death Announcement It is an announcement regarding the death of a person to the people for the expression of sorrow for someone's death and then prepares them for ceremony of the dead.
2 Preserving the Body Preserving the body is done by removing some of the internal organs. First brain is removed by putting a hook in the nose to pull the brain out and put it in the water. Next they remove all the other organs(Stomach, lungs, intestine) by making a slit in the left abdomen And pull them out and preserved them with the chemicals and these parts are individually mummified in canopic jars.
3 Drying Out Process Remove all the moisture from the body is done by a salt natron for 40 days.
4 Wrapping of the Body Linen (cloth woven from flax.) is used to wrap the body and some ornaments (thought to give protection against evil, danger, or disease) are also placed in the wrapping.
5 Prayers and placing in the coffin. Priests come and do prayers and then the wrapped body is placed in the decorated coffin.
