Malware is malicious software installed into the system when the user clicks a malicious link / email. After its installation it can access to your (network components, damage system, and access / delete / modify your data information).

Malware Types	Details
Spyware	It is software that enables a user to obtain information about your computer activities by transmitting data covertly from your hard drive.
Ransomware	It used to encrypt files on a device and makes them unusable.
Backdoor	It is used gain the access of remote resources(databases and file servers) within an application and can issue system commands and update malware remotely.
Trojans	It acts as a legitimate application / file and gets loaded and executed on your device to damage or steal your organization’s data on your network.
Computer Virus	It is used to spread from device to device by self-copying and to damage a device or to steal data.
Worms	It is used to spread from one computer to other computer without any human interaction and are not attach themselves to a software program to cause damage.
